Goose Crossing

Fort Washington, Pennsylvania

On January 2nd, I was all set to drive up the on-ramp to the Penna. Turnpike, but had to stop and wait. It seems they built the on-ramp right where these Canadian geese like to walk!

I wrote to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission
and sent them these photos. I received the following reply from Christine Baker at the Commission:
"Thank you for your interest in the Pennsylvania Turnpike and for sending those wonderful photographs. That must have been quite a site! I will forward those photos to our editor of our employee newsletter. Perhaps she might use them in an upcoming issue. I will have her contact you if she does. Thanks again for writing!"
